Script Check
During a break in shooting, Sudou Maasa-san is checking over the script.
Sudou-san played the role of Yabusame Tsurugi considerably well.

Ria Army
Kiyomaro is overwhelmed by the four members of the Ria Army.
Yakumo Satoshi is a bipolar character, and thanks to this they became familiar with one another.
The actors in the shot from the left are Nakai Kyohei-san, Inoue Kouhei-san, Kato Juuna-san and Mitsuki Airi-san.

Minor Characters
All of Tsurugi and Kokona's classmates.
Shiraishi Naoya-san, in the role of the PE teacher.
Everyone behind the main cast were doing their best with their performances during shooting. Please check them out on the screen!

Kokona
We begin shooting with Noto Arisa, in the role of Atae Kokona.
The adaption of the Kokona of the original to a 3-dimensional character beautifully came out of her enthusiastic performance.

Yakumo's Room
We are shooting a scene in Yakumo's room.
Director Oomori and Satou Hisanori-san are interested by the artificial jellyfish prop.
It's certainly used skillfully when shooting.
Quite like the shape of a real jellyfish.
The jellyfish on top of Satou Hisanori-san.

Night at the Park
We are doing a night-shoot in a public park.
It is still October, but the scene is cold.
Even so, Director Oomori is wearing short sleeves.
He went in with fighting spirit.

Comical
For a change, we're filming a comical scene.
Suzuki Hiroki-san, in the role of Kiyomaro, went all out with his character.

Serious
Continuing on from last time, we are shooting a serious scene.
Sudou Maasa-san and Satou Hisanori-san have serious facial expressions.

Outtake
During a break in filming, we photograph publicity stills.
We started shooting the precious outtake scenes at this time today.

Action Scene
(Editor's note: A follow up to the previous entry about the action scene! Including yet more great pictures of Maasa getting down to business.)
Under the direction of action surpervisor Kawamoto Tadahiro-san, Sudou Maasa-san practices many times.
Even a wounded person leaving safely at the end of filming the action scene is done.
This scene is fun to see in the movie.

Power: 120
(Editor's Note: This one gave me a lot of trouble. The first line is fairly complex, grammatically. But Krv eventually lended me a hand. So I bring you a new Ranobe blog translation, once again featuring the cool character of Maasa.)
Yabusame Tsurugi, played by Sudou Maasa-san, holds the status of being the most terrifying beautiful girl at the 120 person academy.
And so we made use of her character to begin shooting an action scene.
Before filming we did thorough rehearsals.

Jellyfish Otaku
(Editor's Note: A new entry on the Ranobe blog. This time we learn something new about Maasa's character's love interest.)
Atae Yakumo, played by Satou Hisanori-san, is an invertebrate otaku.
(Photograph at Enoshima Aquarium)
He particularly loves jellyfish.

Close Friends
(Editor's Note: Yet another blog translation. We've had a lot of posts recently. Though I do hope we get to see a little more of Maasa from these.)
In the role of Ichiko Yuuna's (played by Taketatsu Ayana-san) best friend is Kanzaka Nana-san.
They are roughly the same height, so in this way, when you line them up, they look like close friends.
These two are always together during a shoot.

Waiting
(Editor's note: More Ranobe fun! What is the best way to pass time while you aren't shooting a scene?)
There is a break in shooting the movie.
Checking her script during the interval is Sudou Maasa-san.
The staff have a friendly chat with Shiraishi Naoya-san, in the role of the PE teacher.
The ways in which people pass time during intervals is varied.

Ichigo
(Editor's Note: Once again, you can thank Krv for translating this entry. Today we introduce famous Seiyuu (most notable for her role in K-ON) Taketatsu Ayana.)
This time we linked up with Taketatsu Ayana-san in the role of Ichigo Yuuna.
It was her first time in a live action film, so she was a bit nervous.
After filming a scene, Director Oomori gives it the once over.
In the midst of a hard schedule, a steady hand on the camera really speeds things up.
